7-Turn David In, Turn Joyce in?

We leave the spa about 1 pm, I'm starving, Michelle tells me, she as a surprise for us, oh shoot, what now? she says she has arranged for us to meet her father at a local restaurant in town, I'm thinking good and bad! Food/father. they have burgers at this place bigger than your face, and I might eat two ha ha.

We are within walking distance, and "M" thinks it would be good "walking in heels" practice for me, 15 minutes later we arrive, my feet are trying to get out of these heels by themselves, inside its quite a nice place, not your typical burger joint, the hostess takes us to a table, her father hasn't arrived yet so "M" and I start to chat about the day and how I should behave, we look at the drinks menu, M orders white wine for us both, I say "Id like a draught beer, "Ladies don't drink draught beer sweety", ok no problem.

M looks at the food menu and asks "what do you fancy" her father still isn't here, so I order another "White wine" while we are waiting, 

Me - "I'm having the double meat burger," 

M - I don't think so,

Me - Why not?

M - It looks like you may have to be "Joyce" for a while longer, so if you don't want to stay in that corset till then, I suggest you chose something else.

Me - Good point, What should I order then?

M - Well I suggest, Soup or Salad.

Me - You mean Soup AND Salad, yes?

M - I'm afraid not honey, for the foreseeable future, its Soup OR Salad for you.

besides it will look better for "Joyce" too, more believable.

John is now 20 minutes late, Just then he enters the room, but he's not alone, he's brought the sergeant from the guard house, oh great a foursome!

As John is  introducing the sergeant, I begin to rise from my chair, M holds me back with her hand on my knee, of course dummy, women don't stand, His name is Kevin, The men sit down, John notices I don't have a drink so he asks, "Not drinking Joyce"? I reply, Thanks General King, white wine please, M gives me a dirty look, Please call me John. "David" has had to call this jerk MR King for 2 years, "Joyce" gets to call him John after two days. I think I might get to enjoy a few weeks of this then get out of town before the ball.

The hostess comes to our table with the drinks, then asks, "what would the ladies like to eat"? 

M - I'll have the Pasta special please,

Me - A green salad for me please,

John - Can I get a Turkey sandwich with a baked potato please,

Finally Kevin - Just a double meat burger for me,

Hostess - Would you like fries with that, "oh yes" says the greedy pig to my left.

I don't believe my ears, he's ordered my burger.

We begin to eat lunch and John asks - Did you ladies have a nice day at the Spa, just before I get a chance to tell him the horrors of my day, M says "yes we did, didn't we Joyce?"

Oh yes it was Super, thank you so much, the wine is beginning to take effect, We finish lunch and begin to talk about my duties as a driver, Im not really paying attention as I don't intend to be around that long, until the sergeant chips in with,

We are having trouble getting your private information, birth certificate and social insurance number, (all part of the new security measures since 9/11) I thought I told you I would take care of that sergeant? says John with the air of a General, Kevin shrinks back into his chair, 

And don't let me hear anymore about it, if you have anymore concerns come to my office at the base. YES sir, sorry Sir. 

It is at this point my world begins to crumble, Two enormous military police officers arrive at our table, John stands to ask why they are there, "We are here to arrest Miss Joyce Lee," OMG I'm going to jail.

With little food and three glasses of wine in me , my life as I know it is coming to an end, I FAINT!!!! (I learn the rest of the story from M at her apartment.)

John takes the men to one side, they talk back and forth, M considers telling the whole story, Then from nowhere, John shouts at the men, they both almost run out of the restaurant. John comes back and notices I've fainted, is she ok? just as Kevin saves me from falling off the chair, Im sorry for shouting at those men Michelle but, I can't stand incompetence,

Michelle, sweetheart, I have bad news I'm afraid.......

It seems that no good boyfriend of yours has been using the same social insurance number as Joyce here.

It all becomes clear to M now, when Kevin was asking all those security questions, he asked what my social insurance number was, the only one I could think of was mine (David), her father has put two and two together and come up with five.

I wake up in M's place, Kevin had to carry me to the car, and up to M's apartment, what I sight that must have been. John tells Michelle, "while we search for David, maybe it would be better if Joyce stays with you,"

Why are your searching for David? M asks

I'm sorry sweetheart, its against the law to use other peoples S.I.N. When David is found he will be charged with fraud and Identity theft

What will M do?
