Add A Line Or A Paragraph Pt 4

David held my hand as we walked down the street making small talk.  I felt so small and feminine as he towered over me, he was at least 3"-4" taller than me and I was wearing heels, his larger hand made my hand look much smaller.  I don't know how he didn't notice the fact that I was shaking like a leaf, it wasn't easy walking in those shoes, I had to concentrate while trying to think about how women move their hips while walking. 

A wave of emotions were going through my head the entire time, and I didn't even realize we had reached Main Street and we were outside a nail salon, I recognized it right away, this was where Kelsey my girlfriend worked, I tried to pull away from David but he was too strong. 

A wave of panic came over me as we walked in.

"Hey, David," Kelsey said with a smile as we reached the counter, 
"Is this your new girlfriend?"

"We'll see, to early to tell," he said with a wry smile of his own as he 
pulled me close with his arm around my waist, "This is Kimberly, 
Sarah's friend visiting from Portland."

"Call me Kim please" I said as I was thinking what a girl would say.

"Oh it's nice to meet you, Kim," she said as she shook my hand, "I'm Geoff's girlfriend, Kelsey, how about we all get together later after my shift ends?"

"I don't know," I replied, trying to make some excuse, but nothing came to mind.

"Oh, come on," she pleaded, "It's almost 5, I get off in ten minutes,

We can meet up with Geoff at his house and all head out from there.
I'll text Geoff and let him know." I relaxed a little thinking
she wasnt going to get a reply.

As she laid down her phone to wait for a reply, she turned to Kim and said, 
"Ok thats sorted, I have time to do your nails Kim if you would like"

"No Charge"

Geoff almost fainted, his girlfriend was offering to do his nails, what could he say, what girl in her right mind turns down a free manicure? "No thats ok, I know your keen to finish up for the day" he replied, 

David chipped in, "Go ahead Kim, I don't mind waiting awhile"

"See" said Kelsey, "It will only take me a few minutes,
then we can all go out together."

Geoff sat down to let Kelsey do his nails, "What have you been doing Kim?" asked Kelsey, "Digging ditches? these nails look like you have never had a manicure"
as she had a giggle to herself.

"Im not really into girlie stuff"  said Geoff,
which was the truest thing he had said all day.

"Looks like we need some extensions too, said Kelsey, and since you don't have a manicure very often, I better make a good job of them, I can't let you leave the salon with nails looking like that can I? its bad for business ha ha"

All he could do was shake his head and giggle. "I suppose not"

I must admit I never gave it much thought of how my girlfriend made a living,
she painted nails, thats all I knew, but as I was forced to watch her,
she transformed my normally manly watch makers hands
into the most feminine finger nails I had ever seen.

"Those are Gel nails Kim, they will last at least two weeks
so come back then and I will take the Gel off." She said

I almost screamed, Wait, What? Two weeks?
He thought to himself.

While Kelsey was doing Geoff's nails Sarah texted a reply to Kelsey using Geoff's phone saying that he had to go to England to fix a guys Grandfather clock,
(Geoff is a watchmaker) 

As Geoff looked over at his girlfriend, he could see Kelsey looked stressed.  
He wondered what was wrong and wished there was some way he could comfort her 
but he was stuck with...with David. 

When she came back to David and Kim she said,
"Geoff didn't tell me he was going to away.

"Where is he going" asked David?

He says he has to go to London England, some rich guy has a clock that needs immediate attention, he might not be back for two weeks, can you believe it?"

I was in shock, why was Sarah telling Kelsey
I may be in England for two weeks?

 Did you guys know about this?" asked Kelsey, after David shook his head slowly and I quickly shook mine, realizing I was on the spot, Kelsey began texting to my phone again furiously. Seeing her like this was almost more than I could bear, but I needed to stay calm in my...disguise.  

David looked at me and then at Kelsey, "Hey, it's okay Kel,
did you guys have plans or anything?"

"Well...no actually...he never plans anything"  I felt a pang of guilt and couldn't hide my blush.  "but we were gonna do "something" this weekend, Oh Whatever..."
she stormed off back to the counter and began angrily closing the shop.

I had to do something.."I hate to see her this way" I said to David in my most worried girl voice.  "Maybe we could keep her company?"

David looked a little confused by this.  "she'll be fine. it's okay"
was all he could muster.  The brute.

I don't know where my head was as I said,
"Why don't we do something together this weekend, just the three of us?"

It wasn't the worst idea I had, it would save me from being alone with David, but it would also mean me staying en femme for the whole weekend.

Oh Dear looks like our hero is going to be Kimberly longer than he wanted,

What will they end up doing for the weekend? Will it involve Sarah?

Lets hope its not too embarrassing or too girlie for Geoff.
