When Robin Chan was born he was only just over 5lb and only 16” in length, but one thing he always wanted was to be was a cop, he passed all the medicals but the one test he could never pass was the height test, he always came up a couple of inches short, until one day he had a growth spurt and there he was, for the first time in his life at the minimum height for a constable, 5’ 4” he had finally made it.

Two years later he was a young man at his new police station and still finding his groove. Everyone who had come out of the academy seemed to have found their niche or just been a really stellar cop. Some of them had failed and had been shamed, he didnt want to end up like them, but where could he make his mark?

And then disaster strikes, he shrank below the legal limit to be a cop, he was devastated he was demoted to being a traffic cop, the lowest of the low for cops, he went home that night and told his girlfriend Tina, what had happened she was shocked, how could this happen, they went to a doctor, he said it was quite normal for people to gain or lose height by a small amount every year, he went home broken man.

His girlfriend Goggled what the cause could be. It said stress could cause people to lose height, they didnt stand as tall and felt their true worth was diminished. She stared at him in his lazy boy chair she could see how this was affecting him.

She started reading about a spate of crimes that were happening in the area, a man was targeting attractive young women, “If only you could be a woman and capture this weirdo” she said and then the wheels started turning in her head, this could be just the thing that would take away the stress that Robin was going through.

”Why dont you use your lack of height to your advantage” she told him, he kind of looked at her with a sideways glance, she continued, “If you could capture this criminal you would feel better about yourself.”

He was so frustrated by his height because he just wanted to succeed as a cop, not be dealing with traffic everyday. But his girlfriend reassures him that this might be his big break. He tells her he will think about it, but he's not very convinced he can pull it off.

“Ok” she says “Lets do this, phone the station, take a two week vacation, let me help you with make up and hair and show you a few tricks about walking in heels and sitting and standing and if you dont like the results we can try something else, what do you say?”

She knows her biggest challenge will be getting him to walk like a woman in heels, (The women that are being targeted are rich beuatiful young women, they know how to wear the highest heels) she knows she doesnt have much time so she starts the first day by bringing him a pair of her 3” heels, “Here you go sweetie try these for size,” she says, he sighs when his foot slips right into her size 5 shoes, not only is he short but his feet are small too. ”Ok lets see how you walk” He sets off to walk across the room and like most men in a 3” heel for the first time he wobbles badly, even while holding her arm for balance.

“Very good” she says, knowing it was pretty bad, but not wanting him to give up at the first hurdle, by the end of the day he is shattered and his feet are killing him, she feels he may give up on the first day so she offers to rub his legs, “Oh that feels so good” he says, “Lets get you into a bath now” she says, she has idea for the bath but knows he wont be happy with the outcome, she knew getting him to shave his legs would be a big thing.

The bath soothes Robins legs and while hes relaxing she starts rubbing his legs again, he sighs “That feels so nice, dont stop” while he is enjoying his rub she starts to shave his legs, hes oblivious to the razor while she rubs with her other hand after about twenty minutes she looks to see if she has missed any hairs, she has done a good job, they are hair free. They go to bed after she has dried his legs so he wouldnt notice what she has done, he is so tired he falls asleep right away.

The next morning she hears a scream from the bathroom, “Omg” he shouts “All my hair has fallen out from my legs” She goes running into the bathroom to calm him down, “It must be the stress, remember the doctor said this could happen?”

“I don’t remember him saying that” says Robin. “Listen” she says “This is a good thing for our experiment, you cant go around dressed as a woman with hairy legs can you? Maybe this would be a good time for me to shave the rest of your body, you know, do your arms and chest” he looks apprehensive but agrees after looking at his hairless legs.

After she has shaved his chest and arms she gets him to put on a bigger pair of silver sandals, as she steps back she shakes her head, “Whats wrong?” asks Robin.

“I just dont get it, how can your legs be so long but you are still only 5’ 4”?

Robin sits down to look at his shaven legs in the new shoes.

As he stands up, she can see on his face that the extra height has given him a new perspective, he actually feels taller, he is standing taller and he looks more confident, as he strolls across the room even in the higher heels he starts to sway his hips, he no longer needs his girlfriends help.

Everyday she could see a new look on her boyfriend not just the fact he was looking more like a woman but he stood taller, he had new outlook and above all he was happier no sign of stress now, so much so he surprised her one day by coming down stairs for breakfast wearing a very short white mini skirt and a pink belt, with a black top, he had done his own make up and was wearing a long black wig that she had bought for him, “So what do you think, can I wear this if we go out for breakfast or is it too much?” He asked.

Tina couldnt believe what she was seeing, could this be the same person that two weeks ago, didnt even want to leave his lazy boy chair never mind venture outside dressed as a girl, Tina said it may be a little over the top, but she could see he had put a lot of effort into looking as good as he did, “Yeah why not” she said “Lets blow the roof off”

As they walked down the street every guy was checking out the legs on Robin,
“You know what, maybe we should be thinking about giving you a more fitting name, what about Susan, or Marie? She asked.

“Actually I thought it would be easier for me to stick with my own name, you know Robyn but with a “Y” that way if someone called out Robyn it would still get my attention”

“Ok then Robyn it is, when do you think you will start your search for this guy thats attacking young women?”

“No time like the present I will start tonight” he said. He was still a bit nervous with all those guys watching him but he knew thats what it was going to take to get this guy caught, he had to look the part, and tonight would be the end of traffic cop Robin and maybe the begining of Robyn the detective.

The first week was hard and he was getting disheartened, Tina tried to help but she could see he was having a hard time being a woman, she tried to cheer him up by buying him a new outfit, one that he hadnt worn before, he looked a knockout, if this didnt catch the guy nothing would.

Robyn looked stunning in a white mini dress and these would be the highest heels he had ever worn, as he looked in the mirror he couldn’t believe the change he had gone through, casting a huge shadow from the shoes he set off down Main Street hoping he would be followed, he didnt have to wait long, a group of guys out for a good time tried to get his attention, Robyn was getting a little worried, if these guys grabbed him he would be in serious trouble, then from the corner of his eye he could see a well dressed man coming to his aid.

”Back off guys shes with me,” he said, and the guy put his arm around Robyn’s waist and pulled him close, “Sorry man we thought she was on her own” came a cry from one of the men, Robyn thanked him and he asked if “She” would like a drink, he couldnt think of a reason to say no so they went to a bar nearby, “What would you like to drink” he asked, “White wine please” said Robyn, they started talking and they hit it off pretty good, Then Robyn said “Ive had a nice evening but it’s getting late I think I should be heading home”

”Would you allow me to walk you home?” He asked, “Yes I think that would be ok” it was the least he could do for saving him from those guys he thought, when they got to Robyn’s house Tina was a watching from the window, “Thanks for a nice night” he said, “Any chance of a kiss?”

Robyn was taken aback by his request but it wouldnt have been out of the ordinary if he had been a real woman, “I dont think so” he said, “I hope you understand, we have only just met tonight”

The guy wasnt about to be put off by Robyn’s answer, and he made another attempt to kiss him, Robyn pushed back but this guy obviously wanted more than a kiss, they were next to a BMW that was parked in the street, “Ok lady enough is enough, get in the car and he made an attempt to force Robyn into the car, now a young girl would have had no chance against this guy, but Robyn was no young girl, “She” kicked him in the groin, he went down fast, meanwhile Tina was calling the cops, she didn’t want to take any chances.

The guy was taken down to Robin’s old precinct , there he was charged with three counts of kidnap and one count of attempted kidnap, the sargent of the precinct asked to speak to the latest young lady to be attacked, Robyn entered his old bosses office, “Please sit” said the Sargent “Can I get your name?”

“Its me Sarge, its Robin Chan” The sargent took a step back to take another look at this tall athletic looking woman that stood before him, “Robin?....Robin Chan?.....

OUR Robin Chan? he almost chanted!

Robyn now had a job for life, there were many more cases to be investigated of women being kidnapped, and who do you think they turned to... his picture was in all the papers the next day with the headline
